15 Weeks Done!

I heard the heartbeat on Friday!!!

You could hear my heartbeat - it sounded really heavy and defined. Then the doctor found the right spot to hear the kid's heartbeat, and it sounded like a whoosh-whoosh-whoosh sound very close together. :-) It made me smile and tear up a little. Damn hormones. It was stil pretty special. Enough to make me grin all big and goofy and then go buy my first baby clothes with Mandi.

The divorce is all but done. Dale and I signed our separation agreement and had it notorized. I signed over ownership of the house at his refinancing closing last night. I turned in the paperwork today to my lawyer and he has court tomorrow, so it should get filed tomorrow. It will take about 3 weeks to finish the whole process (I will get my piece of the settlement in about a week), and then I will be a Manol again. Hallelujah!!

I've picked out the decorations for the nursery. I'm still not telling any of you (my nosy, wonderful friends!) what the sex of the baby is or the final names I pick out. I'm registered at Target. Not sure when I'm having a baby shower...That's up to mom or to any of my friends who want to put the energy and time into planning one. :-) Take your time deciding. I like parties.

I'll try to update more often. Make me go out more often, people! I'll have more to write about!!
